Active Driving Assistant Pro

Innovative camera/radar-based driver assistance systems provide partly-automated support to deliver peace of mind. The Frontal Collision Warning System gives you an added level of active safety. It uses radar to monitor when your vehicle is closing in on a slower-moving or standing object. First it flashes a visual alert, followed by acute audible and visual warnings. As an added safety precaution, your safety belts are temporarily tightened. City Collision Mitigation, also included in this system, can detect stopped vehicles directly ahead, and warns if you are approaching too quickly. Designed to work at speeds between 2 and 37 mph, it helps prevent collisions at speeds differing by up to 10 mph; at higher differences it can help reduce the severity of a collision.

Active Park Distance Control

Active Park Distance Control uses ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumpers to help you judge the distance to other vehicles and unseen objects when parking. The system uses an audible warning that beeps faster the closer you get to an object, turning into a constant tone when the distance is less than 12 inches. Automatic braking will engage when stationary objects are detected as you back up slowly, or if there are obstacles in the immediate vicinity in front of or behind the vehicle.
