Park Distance Control

Eight sensors — four in the front, four in the rear — help you judge how close you are to other vehicles and unseen objects when parking. And in coordination with Rear View, Park Distance Control lets you know if your vehicle can fit in a space before you begin backing in.

BMW Assist eCall^™ and TeleServices

In an emergency, BMW Assist eCall^™, now standard in most BMWs, automatically sends your location and relevant information to police and EMT services, saving critical time when you need it most. Also standard with BMW TeleServices, your BMW knows exactly when the next servicing appointment is coming up and informs you about any maintenance requirements. Rear-View Camera

Rear-view camera clearly shows the area behind the vehicle in the Control Display. Working in conjunction with Park Distance Control, interactive guidelines in the Control Display help the driver by showing whether a selected parking space can accommodate the vehicle. Parking trajectories, as well as turn angles, are also shown in the display.

Xenon Adaptive Headlights

Our Xenon Adaptive Headlights with distinctive corona rings began as a groundbreaking idea that went on to become a major advancement in safety. Using an electromechanical system, our adaptive headlights follow the direction of the wheels. So as you begin cornering, the headlights turn into and around the bend, which allows you to see more of the road, sooner. Xenon lights, another BMW innovation, help provide clarity by emitting twice as much light as halogen light, while using half as much energy.
